Profile Of A Saint!
He Was Man Bestowed With A Great Capability To Think Beyond The Worldly Barriers.
On Those, Who Believe And Do DeedsOf Righteousness, Will The Most Gracious, We Bestow Love. Those Who Strive In Our Cause And Faced Tro ... uble, We Would Certainly Guide Them, Allah Is With The Righteous Ones (Sura Maryam: 6).
As Soon As He Strives With The Might And Main With Constancy And Determination, The Light Of Allah AndMercy Come To Meet Him, To Correct His Short Comings And Provide The Means With Which He Can Raise Above Himself And To Point Out The Way And All Paths Leading Up To It( Sura Ankabout). In Context Of These Quranic Verses These Few Quotes Have A Very Special Mention. Those Who Find My Path, We Will Bestow With Deeds (Ibn - Abbas). Those Who Strive Hard In Search Of Knowledge Will Be Shown Righteous Path (Fazail Ibn Iyaz). Those Who Keep Sunnah Alive Will Be Shown Path To Heaven (Allama Qasheeri). For Love And Affection, Islam Has Laid Down A Special Pattern, Which Demands That Besides The Almighty One Should Have Affection And Love For Beloved Prophet, Peace Be Upon Him. The Affection Should Be Selfless, Without Involvement Of Any Desire Or Demand. Such Persons Are Loved By Allah, And Become His Darling 'Mehboob', Allah Declares Among Angles That I Consider Such And Such Person My Close, So Angles Love Him And Declare Among Masses About This Love With Him, With The Result All The People Keep Loving Him And Hence Becomes The Darling Of Everybody (Mehboob Ul Alam), Such Is An Example Of Hazrat Shaikh Hamza (R.A) Remembered By People As Makhdoom Sahaab (R.A), MehboobUl Alam Or Sultan Ul Arifeen. Hazrat Hamza (R.A) Was Saint (Wali) By Birth. When Born, His Mother Suffered Aglactia. A Foster Mother Was Called To Feed The Baby. She Tried To Nourish The Baby For One Week, But He Refused To Suckle Her Instead Suckled A Few Streaks From His Own Mother And Miraculously Survived Without Any Adverse Effects. It Was Latter Known That The Lady (Foster Mother) Had Come To Feed This Baby Without Permission OfHer Husband And Leaving Her Four Month Old Daughter At Home. It Is Said That His Childhood He Refused To Eat Or Drink Doubtful Items. Hazrat Usman Raina Owned A Huge Flock Of Sheep And Goats Which WasLooked After By A Shepherd Namely Mehdi Chopan. One Day While Grazing The Animals; A Sheep Had A Fall In The Meadow And Died. Apprehending That He May Have To Pay Compensation, The Shepherd Slaughtered The Dead Animal And Brought The Severed Head To The Owner And Made Him Believe That He Slaughtered The Animal By Halal Method. Believing The Shepherd, The Owner Ordered The Family To Cook ItFor The Dinner. This Was The Time When Makhdoom Sahaab Was Just Four Years Old. He Somehow Got TheIntuition That The Meat Being Cooked For Dinner Was That Of A Dead Sheep(Which Is Prohibited For Muslims). Quran Bears Testimony To The Fact That The Righteous Are Informed By The Allah About The Facts (Sura Kahaf: 25). On Whom We Had Bestowed Mercy And Special Knowledge Through Hazrat Khidhr (A.S) And This Knowledge Is Called As"Ludini Knowledge". It Was By This Ludini Knowledge That This Child Came To Know About The Misdeed And Dishonesty Of The Shepherd. He Collected A Small Piece Of Dung And Poured It Into The Vessel In Which TheMeat Of The Dead Sheep Was Being Cooked. The Kitchen Mistress Of The Family Noted The Action Of The Child And Informed Baba Usman Who Ordered Her To Destroy The Vessel. This Is How Makhdoom Sahib (R.A) Saved His Family From Consuming Forbidden Food. Mehdi Chopan Too Learnt A Lesson From The Incident. Makhdoom Sahaab (R.A) Always Practiced Breath Holding While Reciting Kalima Tayyub (Zikr Char Zarab) With Which He Fought Four Forms Of Satan. Be It In Form Of Desire, Wish, Self Or Ego? This Was The Reason That He Suffered Most Of The Time With Headache And Chest Pain. He Was Heard By Allama (R.A), Saying "I Bear The Burns Of Heart And Soul, My Chest Is Full Of Fire". His Breath Was Reported Not To Be Warm But Hot. It Smelled Like RoastedMutton.
Meaning, You Are The King, Continuously Remembering Allah While Breath Holding Is Your Crown. Char Zarb Are The Four Crystals In That Crown And Every Breath Is The Diamond In The Crown. Such Type Of Practice Made You The King Of Unknown Kingdom.
He Practiced Islam In Accordance WithThe Quran And Sunnah. In A Cold Winter, He Took A Bath With Cold Water And Left Makhdoom Mandow Along With Allama Khaki To Offer Friday Prayers At Jamia Masjid. On Way A Marriage Was Being Celebrated And The People Were Busy In Singing And Playing Music. HeRan Very Fast And Went To Make Ablution Afresh With Cold Water At ANearby Canal Saying That Listening ToMusic Was Un-Islamic And Demanded An Ablution.
